It has been brought to our attention that someone is advertising a
memorabilia show taking place in Memphis during Elvis Week 2009 calling it
"The Collecting King Memorabilia Show 2009" This is NOT our
show. Even though the person responsible for this has removed the word "the"
from the title, it still can be interpreted as a blatant attempt to draw
people to this event by misrepresentation. We are sorry for any

COLLECTING THE KING MEMORABILIA SHOW 2009
GREETINGS ELVIS FANS AND COLLECTORS!
The
Collecting The King Memorabilia Show 2009 WILL NOT be at the Clarion Hotel
on Brooks Road this year. After a meeting, we felt unsure as to
the future of the hotel and felt it too great a risk for us to continue
having our show there. We are therefore going to move back to the
luxurious Peabody Hotel in downtown Memphis, Tennessee which we plan to
establish as our permanent location. Being that this is an "off" year
for anniversaries, we felt that our usual five day show would be too long so
we will be cutting our days down to three starting Thursday, August 13th
through Saturday, August 15th for this particular show.
The show will be held in the Hernando Desoto Room
located on the mezzanine level of the hotel lobby just a short walk from the
elevators. There will be a sign or two to direct everyone to the room. Those
fans attending the Elvis at The International, a Celebration
Concert at the Cannon Center for the Performing
Arts on Friday night, be sure to come to the Collecting The King Memorabilia
Show before the concert (we're only a short walk away). Dealers scheduled to
participate are on the "List Of Dealers" page with more to be added as we
get closer to August. Keep checking the web site for updates!
We are looking forward to having our show at the Peabody Hotel, a location
befitting a King!
